Surroundings and people (see part 1 and part 2 for the pictures of the Teams)
Doesn’t look crowded from this site - Sieht von der Seite her gar nicht voll aus, oder?
The crowd is getting bigger and the music louder - Die Menge wird groesser und die Musik lauter
The crowd is waiting - Die Menge wartet
We got a nice spot - Wir haben einen netten Platz bekommen
TV (?)
I got some serious camera and lens envy
- Ich wurde in Anbetracht der versammelten Kameras und Objektive “leicht” neidisch
I was impressed by the Security measures inside and outside the water - everything was there - Ich war von den Sicherheitsmassnahmen beeindruckt - alles war da, im und ausserhalb vom Wasser
All kinds of people…some with cigars - Alle moeglichen Leute, manche mit Zigarren….
…some with hats and phones…. - ….. manche mit Hueten und Telefon….
All kinds of people…some with huge tripods - Alle moeglichen Leute, manche mit grossen Tripods….
Serious
At first I tried to sneak a shot of him, didn’t work and I felt bad doing so anyway. So I asked him, if I could take a pic and he agreed
—– Zuerst wollte ich ein Bild klauen, ging aber nicht und es hat sich auch nicht richtig angefuehlt. Dann habe ich ihn gefragt, ob ich ein Bild machen darf und er hat zugestimmt
More to come - and again, if you are on any picture and want a copy or if you want the photos from your team, just drop me a comment ![]()

Hey do you have any pictures of the Pirates of the Arabian. We were the first team off the ramp. Unfortunately, with all the mayhem, we didn’t get a decent picture. So please do let me know.
Thanks

Sometimes it does, with me, Joel. But I have realized a few times now that the people sort of know what I did anyway. Now, I’m just more open. It does often not work out the way I want either, but heck, I’m not a Pro, so I can goof around
Thanks, Jonathan, yepp, I had a few people (and their shots) that finally got me into being a bit more open about it. Well, and all those nice, friendly MEN (cough) on the market that want me to take their pictures, gives me some training, grin….
