Sehr interessant und aufschlussreich. Vor allem wusste ich nicht, dass gmail mit dem Gedanken spielt, seinen Service in D-Land einzustellen.

That’s what I just now got on my screen after deleting ONE photo on flickr.
Very BAD joke, cause I still have 7673 to check…..!
They are still there though.
Maybe this is the flickr way of paying me back for leaving?
Just a test, if a once blogged and then from flickr deleted picture will stay on the blog are will be deleted.
I’ve blogged it and will wait for a day or so, before I start deleting my pics on the other account.
For now, this picture is still on the blog, after deleting it here.
We shall see 
I will be closing this account down soon.
The reason being the latest events in flickrland.
Yes, I’ve paid for this account until March next year,
but I will more than likely not get my money back.
There are too many pictures on here that yahoo can use one way or another.
I’m not willing to give them anything for free anymore and pay money for them using my stuff.
I have opened up a free account with which I will be still able to visit you all.
My new home for now will be in Ipernity Land.
Come visit me, if you have the time.
I don’t know how long it will be peaceful there,
but for the time being I will enjoy it.
I don’t think, I will ever get that settled like I have been over here,
nor put so much time and work in a web site.
Anyway, it has been a great time,
I’m just sad how everything has been handled and still is handled by flickr and yahoo staff.
Asking for trust and respect after one week of no reaction,
I can’t stand it no longer.

My experience here on flickr has been a good one.
I love the people here and I love the idea and concept.
I don’t like not to be informed about changes.
I don’t like not to get informed after the changes.
I don’t like not to get explanations or statements.
It’s not the first time, maybe not the last,
but for sure the worst.
Not for everyone, just for a few.
Many people get bugged by the protest pictures,
many people say, we complain at the wrong source.
Keep these opinions up, if you want,
but read some informations first.
So long, for now until this is solved one way or the other
you will only see pictures like this on my stream.
My other shots and energy will go over to my refugee camp for now.
