Not much

I’ve been swimming twice in the last week (short distance) and been running once, walked a longer distance twice and we have been at the beach every morning.
So, I’m getting to go - a bit ;)

I’m trying to leave the Snacks in the cupboard and am doing quite well on that.

Current weight 76 Kilos - 8 to go ;)

UPDATE:

I just got a motivation kick by a blog friend over at wordpress.
Now I’m heading downstairs to the Fitness room for half an hour.
You know, I really have no excuse why those 8 Kilos I want to loose are still there.
We have the beach & running track in front of the house, a Pool in the house as well as two Fitness rooms.
    No excuse.
    None.

    See you later ;)

Just a reminder - this was January 4th 2007 - you find the explanation when you click on the picture :)

I spare you the nude version ;)Enough is enough!

    Update:

Yeah, I’ve been on the bike for 15 minutes (5 miles) and on the running machine for 5 minutes.

Now I’m freshly showered and having Lunch :)!

Fit :)

Yeah - we can finally breath again (in the mornings).
I was out this morning and there was (almost) no Smog and no humidity. It was almost cool.
Nice :)!

We (the dogs and me) went down to the beach, walked a bit and they fetched empty bottles out of the water a few times.
Now they are sleeping :).

After that I went swimming. Just a little bit, not more than 100 meters or so, but hey, it’s a start again, alright.
I found a little thing, where the water comes out with high pressure and I used that as a massage thing for my back. Felt wonderful.

I start feeling better too.
I’ll probably pay later with yet another nap, but that’s alright.

Food of the day:

1 1/2 cups of Oat flakes with a bit of chocolate and milk

Liquid of the day:

2 Coffee

Water

Time to get started (again)

I am close to 77 KG again, after I had been down to 72 since coming to Kuwait.
But that heat just made me plain lazy, even though, it’s nice and frosty cool inside and we have a gym and a pool.
Oh well.

I started slowly changing my meals again. No sweets, ice cream and snacks, more Vitamins, like half a melon for dinner ;)

We walk in the mornings again, approx. 1,5 KM.

Not much, but a start :)

Food:

Oat flakes with Cacao milk

Drinks:

2 coffee
1 small Orange juice

MH, not much of a choice here though.
There are sports shops downtown, but the quality of the shoes looks the same.
And who knows, other companies use animal testing and cheap labor too. So, as long, as I'm stuck here, I'll keep using what I can buy quite cheap on post.

These were only 60 Dollars, compared to what I usually pay in Europe, it's damned cheap.

For some unknown reason my right foot keeps falling asleep lately. It started (that I noticed) yesterday at the gym, when I was on the bike. And it did it today during running too. Gotta keep an eye on that. Probably a pinched nerv, gotta stretch more, I guess.

Good thing is though that I finally got faster :) Must be because of my Cardio training in the gym for 2 weeks almost now.

Got down from 26 minutes for my 2 miles (3.5 Km) finally. The difference in time here is probably because I changed the direction today. Yesterday was a bit more downhill.

And the race time calculater at Runnersworld tells me, that I should be able to finish a 5 K 00:38:24 minutes. We will see. My first 5 K is on July th if nothing happens in between :)

A new week

And we roll, aeh, run again :)

Half a minute faster and another 1. Kilo lighter :D

I think, that's very nice, don't you? It's really worth the effort. This week, I will stay at the 3.5 K (2.1 Mile) and try to speed up a bit.

Not much news beside that. We had a relaxing weekend, despite the fact that there is some trouble rolling at hubbys ork, which might affect us quite a bit. I hope, we get good news today and everything will relax again!

This morning we are supposed to have a Sekt-breakfast with some girls. We will see, if they are still up to it.

Now I go and do some food logging ;)

That’s basically what it looks like
